Swimming with the Seals

Get up close with the South African Cape Fur Seals.

We depart from central beach on board “Hooligan” to Robberg Marine Reserve, home to about 4000 fur seals. Here you jump in the water, along with a qualified dive master, among the friendly seals. Don’t worry about sharks, the area around the colony is very shallow (2-4m deep) the boat always stay close and we make use of shark shields (one of the boat and one with the dive master) a device that gives off electronic impulses in the water, which sharks are very sensitive to. We stay in the water for about 30minutes of action packed fun!

All equipment supplied, mask, snorkel, fins & wetsuits. It is suitable for ages from 6yrs & older.
