From the backpackers we rent out canoes for a canoe trip on the Keurbooms River and Lagoon. The canoes that we use are the Synergy from Fluid (see pictures). The nice part about these canoes is that they easily fit two people (even two people and a child) but that they can also be used by a single person

The price for a canoe trip for two persons is R 350.00 for the day.

The canoes are within walking distance from the backpackers, no transport is needed. At the reception you get the  paddles and of you go!

A canoe trip on the Keurbooms river is one of those relaxing trips that everyone should do. Especially on a beautiful summers day.

Just imagine canoeing for a couple of kilometers to a place that people not can reach by car. Tranquility guaranteed!!! It is also possible to paddle to the other side of the Lagoon where the deserted Keurbooms Beach is waiting for you. Talk about a place to be away from it all!

Canoeing on the Keurbooms river is also great for a day with the whole family.
